Nouriel Roubini

Nouriel Roubini is one of the most renowned global economists, having predicted the 2007 global financial crisis and credit crunch, he has extensive policy experience as well as broad academic credentials.

Roubini is Professor of Economics at New York University’s Stern School of Business as well as Chairman of Roubini Macro Associates, a global macroeconomic consultancy firm in New York.

From 1998-2000, he served as the Senior Economist for International Affairs on the White House Council of Economic Advisors and then Senior Advisor to the Undersecretary for International Affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department, helping to resolve the Asian and global financial crises, among other issues.

Yanis Varoufakis

As the former Finance Minister for Greece, Yanis Varoufakis is an economist, academic and European activist.

Yanis Varoufakis is one of the most renowned names in economics and politics today, having written several books on the global economy. His latest book, Talking to My Daughter About the Economy, gives a brief history of capitalism, using tools such as Greek mythology to explain why the global economy is the way that it is today.

Linda Yueh

Dr Linda Yueh is both a well-established economist and TV presenter, having hosted her own BBC programme, Talking Business. She is a Fellow in Economics at Oxford University and Adjunct Professor at the London Business School.

As well as being an expert on the Chinese economy, Yueh is a widely published author. Her next book, The Great Economists: How Their Ideas Can Help Us Today will be published this year.

Yueh’s knowledge spans the rise of China and other Asian countries, as well as the effect on the global economy.

Farah Pandith

Farah Pandith is a diplomatic entrepreneur, foreign policy strategist and former diplomat. Pandith is a pioneer in the field of countering violent extremism (CVE), has been a political appointee in the George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations.

Appointed America’s first-ever special representative to Muslim Communities in 2009 by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Farah Pandith travelled to nearly one hundred countries under both Secretaries Clinton and Kerry launching youth-focused initiatives.

Helen Clark

Helen Clark served for nine years as Prime Minister of New Zealand, serving three successive terms from 1999-2008.  Later she was the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme from 2009-17.

Her leadership role at the UN established her expertise in geopolitics and international relations. Throughout her tenure as Prime Minister, Clark engaged widely in policy development and advocacy across the international, economic, social and cultural spheres.
