Hema Ravichandar is a strategic HR Advisor with 33 years of industry experience. She currently provides strategic HR advisory services to several Indian and multinational corporations and is on the Board of Directors at various companies. Throughout her career Hema has spearheaded large-scale HR interventions, change management programmes, broad branding initiatives and leadership and management development programmes to help organisations grow and prepare for the future.
Until 2005, Hema was Senior Vice-President and Global Head of Human Resources for Infosys Technologies. Whilst in this role she designed and drove the HR agenda for Infosys globally as it scaled up from 250 employees in 1992 to 40,000 employees in 2005.
Hema Ravichandar has won several awards and accolades including three HR Professional of the Year Awards and listings amongst the ’25 Most Powerful Women in India’.
Hema Ravichandar writes on various aspects of Human Capital Management in the column titled, ‘HR Matters’, in The Mint, a business newspaper from HT Media Ltd, in collaboration with The Wall Street Journal.
